Le’Veon Bell Obviously Missed His Drug Test Because He Was Too Busy Not Doing Drugs

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell is facing a four-game suspension for a violation of the NFL’s drug policy, sources told ESPN’s Dan Graziano.

The suspension is the result of a missed drug test, not a failed one, sources said. The appeals process is ongoing, which is why the suspension hasn’t been announced.

No date for Bell’s appeal has been set, though it’s expected that it will be heard before the regular season. If it isn’t overturned, Bell would miss the first four games of the season.

Of course Le’Veon Bell missed his drug test. He’s so focused on getting ready for the season and not driving around smoking blounts with LeGarrette Blount that he totally forgot about his appointment. Let’s be logical. If Le’Veon was still doing weed, would he be so obvious about it by showing the most tell-tale sign of marijuana use in forgetfulness? If he’s been baked out of his mind wouldn’t he do everything in his power to show up and not look baked? I’d expect a stoned Le’Veon to camp outside the testing facility like a Duke student in Krzyzewskiville trying to get tickets for the Carolina game. Nobody would question the guy that showed up to the test area a day early. In fact those guys are usually celebrated once two-a-days start.

But instead Le’Veon didn’t want to play those mind games. He knew showing up and peeing clean urine would make him look guilty. Like he stole someone else’s urine or tainted the sample. So he decided to pull the exact move someone with nothing to hide would pull and didn’t show up. Make them come to you. If the NFL really wanted to catch Bell on drugs they would’ve knocked down his doors Wire style and administered the test right there. But instead Goodell would rather play the behind the scenes game in ending the culture of low level drug use. Maybe he should take a page out of Bunny Colvin’s playbook instead and institute an area in training camp where marijuana use is allowed. You’d probably see a lot more late hits because of slowed reaction time, but at least players would recover quicker from concussions.

P.S

Le’Veon definitely thought he was allowed to smoke weed in the states where marijuana is legal. What an idiot!
